Roadmap

Our roadmap

ForkScan Pro grows in six stages from a diagnostic tool into a service platform for material handling equipment. Here you can see what each stage covers and how far it has got. We do not give dates: what we build, we try out with pilot companies.

Six stages

From reference work to everyday tool

Together, the first four stages form the core for operators and service companies. Inspections as well as parts and stock build on them.

  1. Stage 1

    Partly available

    Diagnosis plus device record

Bring together device, QR code, filtered fault search, error documentation, photos, operating hours and status.

Goal: ForkScan Pro turns from a reference work into an everyday tool for technicians.

    Available today

    • Error code search
    • Series with type numbers
    • Your fleet first
    • Vehicles with status and operating hours
    • Error documentation with photos and status

    Planned

    • Device record with QR code
    • Scan and see matching codes
  2. Stage 2

    Planned

    Report Lite

A report page via QR code for drivers, with incident types, photo, error code, location and rules for who receives a report.

Goal: Reports reach the people responsible and, after review, are assigned to a defect or service case.

    Planned

    • Report page via QR code, without signing in
    • Location only at the time of the report
    • Reports to the right people
    • Confirmation and status link
  3. Stage 3

    Partly available

    Fleet Lite

Shared device base, overview for operators, usability of devices, open reports, defects and a simple maintenance history. Existing inspection data are kept.

Goal: Operators see at a glance which device is ready for use and what is open.

    Available today

    • Vehicles with status and operating hours
    • Inspection dates with email reminders
    • Error documentation with photos and status
    • Reports with Excel and PDF export

    Planned

    • Usability and maintenance history
    • Defects
    • Blocking with documented release
    • Safety first in the overview
  4. Stage 4

    Planned

    Service Lite

Customers, sites, customer devices, service cases, simple appointments, assignment to technicians and PDF reports, also for customers without their own ForkScan account.

Goal: Service companies manage customer fleets from order to report.

    Planned

    • Customers and customer devices
    • Service cases with appointment and responsibility
    • “My jobs”
    • PDF service report
    • Sharing instead of full access
  5. Stage 5

    Planned

    Inspection and maintenance

Inspection templates, defects, measures, signature, records and next due date.

Goal: Safety inspections (UVV) are not only scheduled in ForkScan Pro but carried out and recorded there.

    Builds on

    • Inspection dates with email reminders

    Planned

    • Inspection templates with signature
  6. Stage 6

    Planned

    Parts and stock

Stock levels, storage locations, minimum stock, use in the service case and suppliers.

Goal: Parts where they are needed. We will only build this stage once service cases are used in daily work.

    Builds on

    • Tools and spare parts

    Planned

    • Parts and stock

Beside the stages

What else we are working on

These intentions are also in the roadmap on the home page and run alongside the stages.

In progress

Built or being built

  • Mobile app

Fully developed for iOS and Android: search, camera scanner, fleet maintenance and offline cache. The apps are being prepared for the App Store and Google Play.

  • Offline pack

Fully developed in the app, which is being prepared for release: the released error codes for your own fleet are downloaded to the phone and looked up without a network. A selection, not the whole database.

  • Database expansion

Further manufacturers, device types and reviewed error codes. Tools and spare parts for each error code: the display is ready, the catalogue is being built, with part numbers from truck manufacturers and suppliers, for identification only.

Planned

Intentions without a fixed date

  • Wiring notes

Notes on wiring and connectors in our own presentation, as far as sources and rights allow.

  • Connected parts catalogues

We are looking into connecting parts lists from dealers and manufacturers, for more spare parts per code.

  • API access

Interface that lets your own systems access the fleet and the error history.

  • AI troubleshooting assistant

Support for troubleshooting based on the error history.

How we plan

Three rules for this roadmap

  • No dates

We give no dates for planned items. A stage is done when it works in daily use, not when a date is reached.

  • Available means usable

“Available” only appears next to what you can use today. Everything else is planned and may still change in its details.

  • Pro stays fast

New areas are added without making the diagnosis heavier. Anyone who only wants to look up error codes should still be able to do so without detours.

Pilot companies help shape it

We try out what the stages look like in detail with companies that use ForkScan Pro in their daily work. As a pilot company you use the Professional plan free of charge for 60 days, talk to the people who develop ForkScan Pro and tell us which stage you need most.
