From error code to finished service report

ForkScan Pro remains a diagnostic tool for forklifts and material handling equipment and is growing into a service platform: device record, inspections, repair, parts, appointments and customer fleets in one flow. On every page we mark what is available today and what is planned.

Four areas

One platform, four areas

Clearly separated on the outside, so that everyone finds what they need; behind them one platform with shared data. Pro, Fleet, Report and Service are areas of the product, not separate plans.

  • ProDiagnosis

    Available

For service technicians, workshops and in-house maintenance

Look up error codes from various manufacturers: meaning, possible checks, code structure, cause, tools and spare parts, where recorded.

Goal: Understand faster what is wrong with the truck.

  • FleetOwn fleet

    Partly available

For operators of their own fleets

Vehicles with status and operating hours, inspection dates, documented errors and reports in one place. A device record with QR code, defects and blocking are planned.

Goal: Keep your own fleet in view.

  • ReportReports at the truck

    Planned

For drivers, warehouse teams and everyone who handles reports

Report problems right at the truck: scan the QR code, describe the incident, attach a photo, send, without signing in. The report reaches the people responsible.

Goal: No problem gets lost in daily operations any more.

  • ServiceCustomer fleets

    Planned

For service companies and workshops with customers

Customers, customer devices, service cases, appointments and technicians in one flow, up to the finished PDF report, also for customers without their own ForkScan account.

Goal: From the customer's order to the finished record.

The flow

From the device to its history

This is how the areas are meant to work together once they are built: device, report, review, defect or service case, report document, history. Available today are the diagnosis and the fleet management; the other steps are planned.

  1. Partly available

    1. Device

Every vehicle with manufacturer, device type, status and operating hours. Today in the fleet of the customer portal; the device record with a QR code on the truck is planned.

  2. Planned

    2. Report

Whoever notices a problem reports it right at the device, with a description, photo and error code. The report is kept exactly as it was submitted.

  3. Planned

    3. Review

A responsible person looks at the report, classifies it and decides what happens next. Safety-relevant matters come first.

  4. Planned

    4. Defect or service case

The report becomes a defect on the device or a service case with responsibility and appointment. The error code search of Pro helps with the diagnosis.

  5. Planned

    5. Service report

Measures and result are documented and issued as a PDF report, for the operator and for the device's record.

  6. Partly available

    6. History

Everything ends up with the device. Today the error history and the history of operating hours per vehicle; reports, repairs and inspections are planned.

One platform

What connects the areas

  • Each company's data kept separate

    Available

Every company sees only its own data: its fleet, its inspection dates, its documented errors.

  • Clear roles

    Partly available

Today you invite your team as administrators or members. Views for tasks such as fleet management, technicians and service coordination are planned.

  • Shared device record

    Planned

Diagnosis, reports, repairs and inspections with the same device, whichever area they come from.

  • Partners see only what is shared

    Planned

When an operator works with a service company, the service company sees only the devices and cases the operator shares with it.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Are Pro, Fleet, Report and Service separate plans?

No. They are areas of one platform. Our plans are called Starter, Professional and Enterprise; what each plan includes is listed on the home page under “Pricing”.

What of this can I use today?

The diagnosis (Pro) in the browser and, depending on the plan, fleet management with inspection dates, error documentation, reports and team (Fleet). In the trial you can try what is available in the browser today.

When will Report and Service come?

We do not give fixed dates. Our roadmap shows the order of the stages and what belongs to each. We are looking for pilot companies to try out with us what we build.

What does “Planned” mean?

An intention we have set ourselves, without a fixed date. Details can change as we learn with pilot companies what really helps in daily work. We only call “Available” what you can use today.
