Area Pro: diagnosis
AvailableUnderstand faster what is wrong with the truck
Pro is the error code search of ForkScan Pro. You enter the code the display shows and read what it means according to the source, which checks to consider and which parts and tools are recorded for it. In the browser on a PC as well as on a phone at the truck.
Features
What Pro can do today and what is planned
It is based on released error codes with a documented source, where possible the manufacturer's documents. The database is extended continuously; its coverage still varies a lot between manufacturers.

Series with type numbers
The codes of a series apply to all its models. Series and models carry their type numbers as they appear on the type plate or in the documents.
Your fleet first
When you browse by manufacturer, the manufacturers of your fleet come first, and the device types of your fleet are marked.
Manufacturer and series pages
Manufacturers and series with enough released codes have pages of their own, without signing in: with type numbers, years of manufacture and the number of released codes.
Planned

Service cases with appointment and responsibility
Turn a report, a defect, an inspection or a direct order into a service case: with responsibility, appointment, measures and completion.

Who it is for
For everyone who narrows down faults on material handling equipment
Service technicians
At the customer's, in front of the truck: look up the code and work through the checks in order, instead of searching a binder.
Workshops

In-house maintenance
Internal technicians classify a fault before they decide whether to check it themselves or call the service.

Where the content comes from
- A source before release
- An error code is released only once a source for the code and its meaning has been entered. We document the source internally.
- In our own words
- We write descriptions and checks ourselves and in one consistent style, whichever manufacturer assigns the code.
- Independent of manufacturers
- ForkScan Pro is not affiliated with the manufacturers. Manufacturer and model names are used for identification only.
- Work on the truck by qualified personnel
- The information helps to narrow a fault down. It does not replace the manufacturers' service documentation, safety regulations or inspection by qualified personnel.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Which manufacturers are covered?
Trucks from various manufacturers; the database is extended continuously. Which manufacturers and series have enough released codes for a page of their own you can see without signing in under Manufacturers and series.
Who writes the tips?
Other users. They share their fixes and mark what helped; the best-rated tips come first. The tips are kept apart below the released content and are not individually checked by us.
Do I need fleet management for Pro?
No. You can use the error code search without a fleet. With a fleet, the manufacturers of your fleet come first when you browse, and you record errors on the vehicle; whether your plan includes fleet management is shown under “Pricing”.
A code is missing. What now?
Send us the manufacturer, device type and code through the contact form. Notes about missing codes help us extend the database where it is needed.
